I was born into one of the largest Christian denominations. I went to their grade school and high schools. I noticed, however, inconsistencies in their theology; things I did not see in Scripture. Neither the schools or my parents (my dad had a PhD) could answer my questions. So I threw that church and Jesus out of my life, I did not perceive the difference between them. I had no relationship with Him. And thus it was for the next 41 years. There were a number of sects and cults that witnessed to me, but they all had what I thought was "weird" stuff. When I was 58 a gentle man witnessed to me about the difference between the Law and Grace. I was astounded and came to the Lord a few days later (I went and read what he had told me to read). Early I knew I had been gifted with faith, a changed heart and a hunger to know. I could not then articulate my faith; I had few answers for my faith when asked. The Lord, however has spread a wealth of resources before me. One of those is Educate for Life. I wonder if I would have suffered through a heroin addiction, alcoholism, failed marriages, lost homes and relationships if my parents and I had EFL back then.
Kevin Conover founded Educate For Life, a 501(c)(3) non-profit ministry, so that he could teach people the evidence for the Bible—not just what Christians believe, but why they believe it.
Right now, Educate For Life is working towards launching our complete online apologetics school, with 40 different classes that present a compelling case for Christianity. Our team has already completed a lot of the work, but there's still more to be done!
